The French are serious about...FRESH Food! Salads, Bread, Seafood, Meat, Cheese, Pate'! They seem to go to the market everyday...Hmmm! No preservatives here!

French Red Wine runs through Linda's veins, it is in her DNA. This is the first of many runs to the wine shop over the next 6 weeks. That's me in the corner after polishing off this bottle the first night!

I went to bed at 9 pm and woke up at 4:30am. Did some emails and went back to bed at 6 am and woke up at 1pm. I was tired, the Tylenol PM/red wine cocktail all account for the comatose sleep!! And then we went for a walk....guess where?

Nothing like a pastry shop/boulangerie in France. Art work at its finest! We will try each before its over!

France is Linda's Happy Place...maybe having me to herself helps!

On the train tomorrow to Avignon where we will stay for a couple of weeks. Our base for short excursions and home of the Insurance Consultants Int'l European office. Have Internet, Cell Phone, Email....we are set!

France .... 10 years later!!

In 2009, and after 27 years of marriage, we finally took our trip of a life time to France. I had never been there before and that was the opportunity to meet the 35 members of Linda's French family. On that trip we never spent the night in a hotel once, always staying with family for 30 days. I also drank red wine for 30 days straight and ate a salad for those same 30 days.

Here we are 10 years later...and 10 years older. Linda hasn't changed but my hair follicles will give me away on what 10 years can do! We are headed to France, Italy, and Greece for 6 weeks!

When you have a son who is an airline pilot, parent of the pilot perks include free Business Class tickets to Europe! We actually left 2 days early to insure we would get seats!!

Thank you Kyle for working hard!! You momma is ruined for flying any other way!

Our first day we left from Ft. Walton, to Atlanta. Atlanta to Dulles/Washington DC. Dulles to Geneva Switzerland (8 hrs) and hopped a 3 hr. train to Marseilles (the first stop on our first trip) to stay with Linda's Aunt Ella!

Air Force WIngs!

Over the next 2 months we will attend 4 graduations....Andrea will get her Bachelors for U of Colorado , Pueblo on May 7th....Katelin will graduate from U of Colorado, Colorado Springs on May 20th and Matt from U of Phoenix on June 18th....and the first one we attended on April 8th....Charlie's graduation from Pilot School at the Air Force base in Columbus, MS.

This day was made for Charlie! A culmination of a childhood dream and years of academic focus to not only be selected to attend the Air force Academy in Colorado Springs, but to earn a spot to become an Air Force Aviator!

This is the one he will fly....a C5 Galaxy....the military's largest aircraft.....

6 stories high and a football field long. It has 28 wheels!

Charlie and Katelin will be stationed at Travis AFB, in California....right next to Napa Valley and San Francisco! Can you say..."We are coming to visit!"

We are proud of both Charlie and Katelin!

Charlie made a us a wall sized plaque to show his appreciation for sponsoring him from the Academy....we were a part of his dream!

All the Robinson family descended on Palmer Lake for Christmas 2010...with everyone dispersing throughout the country and potentially overseas (Charlie and Katelin)....we cherish the time celebrating Christmas!
